At the recent National Indian Gaming Association Legislative Summit in Washington DC, US, VGT - a division of Aristocrat - presented NIGA with $250,000 in support of the association’s Capital Building Fund.
Jay Sevigny, president of VGT, presented a cheque to NIGA chairman Ernie Stevens, signifying a five-year commitment to the fund.
“NIGA appreciates the response we have received from VGT for many years,” Stevens said. “We are very grateful for this significant commitment to our Capital Building Fund, which helps us maintain our important presence in Washington and provide a first-class facility that enables NIGA to continue its work on behalf of Native American gaming.”
“We are pleased to have this opportunity to support NIGA in its effort to create a first-class environment for the people who tirelessly work to advance tribal gaming interests across America,” added Sevigny.
“This demonstrates our pledge to work with our tribal partners in these efforts.”
