Andrew Hely has been reappointed managing director of IGT’s Asia Pacific region, operating out of the group’s Sydney headquarters, it has been announced.
Hely was previously at Ainsworth Game Technology and has returned to IGT - and in the same role - after an absence of three years. He was with the company from 2005 to 2014 and with AGT since then. He has also been a director of the Gaming Technologies Association for most of those years, including chairman from 2012 to 2014.
During his previous control of the region for IGT, Hely oversaw a rapid expansion in the group’s business in both Australia and New Zealand, as well as growing the business throughout APAC.
