The new products were developed at the company’s instant game factory in Alpharetta in the US state of Georgia, a facility that provides over 70 per cent of lottery instant games sold in the country.

The fresh and patented KDS360 software security system has been developed from the Keyed Dual Security technology, which is the backbone of SG’s instant games security. KDS360 extends the protection of a game from initial game generation through to the final delivery of the product to its destination.

Joe Bennett, the company’s US Instant Products vice president of operations, said: “There is no other instant game security protection available on the market. This software system and robotic technologies are integral to game security and to our ability to provide the most secure instant games in the business.”

KDS360 requires separate random number generation keys from multiple and independent parties to shuffle the prizes within a lottery instant game and then further shuffles games at the individual ticket level during the manufacturing process.

“Lottery instant games are fun and exciting for players but SG also ensures that behind each ticket the company produces lies a rock solid layer of security,” added Bennett.
