Travellers International Hotel Group, which operates Resorts World Manila (pictured) in the Philippines, saw revenue and EBITDA climb in 2016, thanks to income from hotels, theatres and retail, but gaming revenues fell.

Net revenue for the year rose by two per cent to PHP25.09bn (US$499m) but gross gaming revenue was down 2.3 per cent to PHP23.65bn ($471m) due, the company said, to a drop in VIP volumes.

The company’s win rate for 2016 improved to a combined 5.2 per cent compared with 4.8 per cent in 2015. The VIP segment win rate, also improved to three per cent in 2016, up from 2.8 percent in the previous year.
