Novomatic has appointed Lawrence Levy as vice-president of global sales from today, February 1.

Levy will work on the development of the group’s products and help open up new markets in the US, Africa, Asia and Australia. He was previously running the group’s activities in South and Central America.

A Briton, Levy has 35 years in the industry, initially as a croupier in London. In 2009 he became general manager at Crown Gaming Peru on behalf of Novomatic.

“The requirements of our customers vary in each market,” he said. “Thanks to my experience in more than 17 countries, I am familiar with local conditions and the individual needs of the various markets.

“I am able to use this knowledge to understand what casino operators need in terms of product, technology, innovation and customer service.”
