The Australasian Gaming Expo is going to set all kinds of records this coming year.

AGE

The event opened for registration this week, fully seven months ahead of opening last year. This time social media has simplified the process with auto-filled fields.

Those registering will also be able to see who else is attending and identify the contacts they will need to meet. Returning visitors will find their registration pre-populated, which will mean just a couple of clicks to complete the exercise.

The show will be without doubt the largest yet held, with 20 per cent more floor space than last year - and 90 per cent of it has already been taken by 176 exhibitors before the end of the year with the show still more than eight months away from opening (August 15-17).

The venue is also new, the International Conference Centre overlooking Sydney’s Darling Harbour. The ICC is a totally rebuilt venue. The AGE organisers in November took 120 of their most regular exhibitors on a tour of the new facility. They saw the new Hall 3, which will hold the show - just half of the 19,000sq.m of space available at the location.

It is planned to run a series of complimentary seminars in the series of available rooms at the ICC during AGE, including the popular Global CEOs Forum and Women in Gaming, among many other subjects.
