Aristocrat Leisure has settled all pending litigation with International Game Technology and has reached a cross-licensing accord covering game features and system patents.
Aristocrat CFO Toni Korsanos said: “Turning ideas into value-adding innovation is core to Aristocrat’s mission to create the world’s greatest gaming experience every day.
"Our agreement with IGT will contribute toward this and we are pleased to have finalised these arrangements.”
IGT’s Renato Ascoli, CEO for gaming and interactive, North America, said the agreement demonstrates both companies' commitment to investing in and preserving the value of intellectual property.
The terms of the agreement have not been released.
