Embedded platform developer Quixant launched two new products in London at this week’s ICE Totally Gaming.

The QMax-1 is a high-end platform with high performance. “It is the most powerful platform available,” said the company’s John Malin. “It will appeal to manufacturers looking for high-end graphics and it also covers 4K. It will allow them to present games as never before.”

The QMax-1 uses the latest chip set from AMD.

The other new product, the QXi-6000, is an all-in-one product that Malin described as “an integrated package.” It permits high-end content at a lower price level on three screens.

The company now has a wide portfolio of platforms. “We used to think that one platform could perform across the board but that is clearly not the case in today’s gaming world,” said Malin. “Different platforms are needed for different markets and we can cover all needs.”
