Visitor arrivals to Macau totalled 2.6 million in July, up by 17.8 per cent month-on-month but down by 3.8 per cent year-on-year.

Visitors from Mainland China decreased by 6.1 per cent year-on-year to 1.75 million with those travelling under the Individual Visit Scheme dropping by 5.3 per cent to 824,536, according to official data.

Visitors from South Korea dropped 22.5 per cent to 37,050, while those from Hong Kong rose 5.7 per cent to 586,136 and Taiwan was up 0.1 per cent to 93,443. For the first seven months of 2015, total visitor arrivals were 17.4 million, down 3.5 per cent year-on-year.
