Russia ready to accept first players to designated gambling area.

Primorye

THE Russian government is ready to receive the first players in the Primorye gambling zone, one of four such areas in the country.

Located in the far east of Russia, the first casino in this territory was due to be opened this month. The first complex, which is known as Tigre de Cristal and features a casino and a hotel with 120 rooms, is being opened by Melco International, which is owned by Lawrence Ho one of the heirs of Stanley Ho, the founder of the gambling empire in Macau.
