The Rank Group, the largest casino group in Europe, has signed a deal with Scientific Games to supply an operator-wide area progressive system for table games at its UK casinos.
Twenty-one tables are initially covered by the deal, in 10 casinos, and they are all blackjack. Another 86 more progressive tables will be installed by the end of the year. The 107 tables will be in 53 properties, a record for installations of Scientific Games’ Shuffle Master operator wide area progressive games.
The system had a number of options and this has led to the decision by Rank. The two companies have a long history of co-operation.
The system is already in operation in more than 50 casinos in the UK, which is about one-third of the UK market, which has the largest live casino gaming industry in Europe.
