Commenting on the decision Salat said: “I am extremely grateful for the privilege of having led an incredible team of gaming professionals for so many years. Together we turned WMS into a world-class gaming organisation, which grew much stronger after the merger with Scientific Games.”

Gavin Isaacs, president and CEO of Scientific Games, said: “Over the last 15 years, as president of WMS International, Sebastian has contributed greatly to the growth of the business throughout Europe, Latin America, Australasia and Africa.

“By combining the WMS foundation built by Sebastian and his team with the solid Bally, SHFL, and Scientific Games’ international businesses, the company’s SG Gaming division is leveraging the wealth of collective resources and relationships to provide new value as a partner of choice to international casino operators.
