Despite the suggestion that the Macau casino market is slowing down, last week’s G2E Asia exhibition held at The Venetian Macao proved to be a positive event.
The fact is that Macau may not be doing as well as it has in the past but it is still the world’s leading casino gaming venue by a huge margin. And elsewhere in Asia markets such as the Philippines and Vietnam continue to expand and Japan, despite the hiccups, is still proving to have huge potential.
A first for G2E Asia was the inclusion of the Asian Dealer Championships, organised by Asia Gaming Brief, and launch attracted a large crowd to the top corner of the trade show floor.
