Scientific Games announced on Monday that a patent infringement lawsuit against its subsidiary Bally Technologies has been dismissed with prejudice by the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.

The lawsuit, brought by TableMax IP Holdings, Table Max Gaming and Vegas Amusement - collectively known as TableMax - in August 2009, alleged infringement of several US patents.

These patents related to devices and methods for electronic table games. Bally Technologies has successfully challenged the validity of these patents in the US Patent and Trademark Office.
