The Casino MK, part of the Aspers Group’s estate of UK casinos, has announced plans to launch a new poker club.

Each Thursday from 6pm, visitors to the Milton Keynes casino can access poker tuition and food and beverage offers. The new club is intended to cater to beginners, helping them learn how to play the popular game.

“Many people have chosen the Casino MK as the place to play poker, but now we want to give those who aren’t familiar with the game the opportunity to learn something new and different,” said Luke Perkins, assistant general manager at the casino. “The popularity of poker has grown tremendously in the past 10 years, but there’s nothing quite like playing poker with friends in the atmosphere of a super casino.”

The Casino MK opened in September 2013 and features over 100 slot machines, 30 gaming tables, a poker room and other entertainment facilities. Since opening it has attracted more than 500,000 visitors.
