The Mexican Gaming Exhibition, ELA, has been postponed until next year, the organisers have decided.

In a worldwide survey carried out on over 18,000 gaming sector professionals, an overwhelming majority – 89 per cent - opted to wait until 2015.

Only three per cent pronounced themselves in favour of the show being held this year, with the remaining eight per cent having no opinion.

The Mexican Parliament is set to debate the regulation of the gaming sector next December, hopefully to clarify the current uncertain situation. At present, the dates provisionally booked for the event are Wednesday and Thursday, May 13-14, 2015.
