Baha Mar, the developer of a $3.4bn casino resort in the Bahamas, has signed management agreements with several major international hotel management companies.

Hyatt Hotels has agreed to manage the proposed 700-room Grand Hyatt Hotel, while Morgans Hotel Group is planning to oversee a 300-room luxury hotel property under its Mondrian brand and Rosewood Hotels and Resorts will control a smaller, 200-room luxury hotel.

"All three of these hotel groups have been great partners with us throughout this process and their ability to work together to bring Baha Mar’s vision to reality has been amazing," said Don Robinson, president of Baha Mar. "Our strategy to work with multiple, best-in-class brands gives Baha Mar the opportunity to feature the very finest brand offerings for each of our different high-end hotel segments."

Upon completion, Baha Mar will feature the largest casino in the Caribbean.
