Gearing up for ICE.

GAMESMAN, the international gaming equipment components and systems manufacturer, has confirmed that it will be taking its biggest ever presence at ICE 2015, its 18th consecutive appearance at what is the company’s home show. The increased presence reflects Gamesman’s growing influence on the world stage. Managing director Mark Smith reflects on a busy 2014 and outlines key objectives for 2015.

The acquisition by Esterline was announced at ICE 2013 - how has the integration progressed? “I’m delighted with the progress and I have to say equally confident about the future. The last 24 months have gone incredibly quickly which is probably indicative of how much has been achieved. We are more efficient across the board and we have leveraged off a wider pool of technical expertise from Esterline. There’s no doubt that we go into 2015 as a strong business, with strong financial backing from our parent company.” 

How does ICE help fulfill your business strategy and goals? “ICE is a barometer for the international industry based on its ability to attract gaming professionals from all corners of the globe - it’s like the United Nations of gaming, which is fantastic for a supplier, if only from a logistics and travel perspective. “Exhibitions, and in particular ICE as the most international gathering on the gaming industry calendar, provide an opportunity for the entire chain of innovators, suppliers, operators and manufacturers to come together, discuss issues impacting the business in its broadest sense and move forward with an injection of confidence and, in our case, with a raft of new product ideas to work on.
