I know it is typically British to talk about the weather but, living in the north of England, Manchester to be exact, it is a rareity that we get nice weather, so when I opened my curtains this morning and I was greated by glorious sunshine I couldn’t help but feel positive about the day ahead - despite knowing I had a morning of html codes and dreamweaver to contend with, while putting our newsletter together.

When you live in a country that hasn’t had a proper summer since…......actually I can’t ever remember in my 28 years on this planet, having a glorious, consistently hot, summer, it is amazing what a difference warmer temperatures and cloudless skies can have on your mood. I am just hoping our good fortune continues into next week for the Park Avenue open day in London… because let’s face it a BBQ is hardly the same when your fighting against torrential rain!

So, with predicted highs of 26C I am making the most of it this evening and hitting the nearest beer garden I can find, this does however bring on a whole host of other problems… mainly ‘midgy’ bites! But that’s another story!
